Keolis is a leading company in the field of public transport. The shares of the company are owned by SNCF (70%) and Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec (30%). Keolis is strongly active in France (Nbr 1 as private operator in public transport) and other parts of the world as North Europe (United Kingdom, Germany Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway), North America (USA, Canada), Australia and Asia (India, China).
Keolis provides all kinds of services to the public transport authorities: bus, tramway, metro, bike and car sharing, parking. The management of these services include the operation (vehicle driving), the maintenance and the related marketing. Keolis covers the whole project life cycle of Public Transport systems starting from the specification of the customer needs to the management of the project transport systems including the commissioning and the measurement of the required performances. Keolis is always investigating innovative transport solutions to provide competitive and differentiative systems to public authorities.
Keolis will contribute to the definition of the ESPRIT system (work package 1). Within work package 8, Keolis will manage the demonstration operation in terms of location and authorisations, and support the operation demonstration (logistics, eventual maintenance support which are developed in the consortium for the demonstration to be organised in Lyon area on behalf of Grand Lyon (ESPRIT Advisory Board member).
FARGUES Emmanuel, male, is Innovation Director of Keolis Group. He is supervising all innovation projects managed by Keolis organisations and representing Keolis in organisations such as UITP for dedicated subject (e.g. European projects). He used to work 13 years for Alstom Transport and 6 years for Valeo Group. He has a strong experience in project management in international organisations. He also developed a strong expertise in the transport field (industry, service).
